The music connections that this book talks about are Beatles, and Elvis. Back then there were lots of music people that like music. In the story there are the Greasers and the Socs, and the Beatles and Elvis relate to these groups of people. For instance Greasers would be related to Elvis, for the way he dressed, how he lived and acted like a Greaser, and the Socs would be related to the Beatles, for there very richness in them, the way they dressed, and how they lived around people. Back then people didnt like Elvis for the way he was because he liked danced to the music, and he was a person he was like poor and wasnt like other people which were always rich.
The Beatles songs, lyrics, and music took history of 1957-1970, in which they revolutionized pop music, cause it was back. They wrote songs, for instance Come Together, Something, and songs like that. They were people who seemed to always be in the upper class. Know about Elvis, he was a person who was like the Greasers, in the way he was. He dressed his hair forward, and looked greased back. Elvis Presley was the first real rock and roll player, but later in the years Elvis was considered dismissed as vulgar, incompetent and a bad influence, thats why most people didnt like him. Know I think that people really like his music, and the Beatles music. This was some of the music that connected to this book, that were between the Socials and the Greasers.
